The Boys at Jomari Shepherds

I only keep males in my breeding program that truly look like boys!  Which means strong male heads, large bone and moderately angulated rear quarters.  Some people would refer to these boys as the "old fashioned" style we saw more of in the 70's.  These boys can and do still win in the AKC show ring.  They do not have to be extreme to win. Yes, they are also intelligent, protective and do the job that shepherds were originally bred to do!

Magua finished his championship on 8/27/17 in very few shows.  We recommend Magua for improving substance, strong male heads, strong ears, and overall "type". He has a high ball drive and excels at performance work but he does need a strong handler to remind him who is in charge.  He is built to work and his moderate angulation makes him perfect for taking on tasks that these dogs

should be able to do. He has an excellent pedigree with some of the top producing dogs.

Major Reserve Winner

DOB: 7/6/16

Flyer was the pick male out of his litter .  I had no intention of keeping yet another male, but he captured my heart from the start. He is my house dog and has a wonderful temperament. This dog has a beautiful forehand while still moderate in topline. I've shown him a few times with a handler and unfortunately this dog just not care for the sport of conformation unless I am showing him and that is tough for me to do now in the AKC ring.  I am having fun showing him in the more relaxed show ring of the IABCA shows where he is so far undefeated and has been Best of Breed in all four shows he's shown in. I hope to try some performance events with him as well depending on what he seems to enjoy.
