"Solo" is all male!!  He is a heavy boned, medium sized boy (80 lbs), very plush coated with gorgeous black/reddish tan pigment.  He has a very handsome strong male head and strong ears (that have been up since he was 8 weeks old).  He is clean coming and going with a correct fluid sidegait. Solo is a outgoing high energy dog and extremely bright.  He has a very strong ball drive and thus far has been a fast learner. He's not a dog for everyone due to his energy level...this is a dog who needs a JOB!

Solo is my pride and joy.  He is the GSD I dreamed about owning since I was child.  He is everything a great GSD should be, with the combination of proper structure and excellent working ability.   He also has shown us he has a very high herding instinct. Solo was slow to mature (mentally and physically) so started his show career at the age of four.  Unfortunately, due to ligament damage in his back foot, he has been retired with 5 points and a major reserve. 

As of August 2011, we recently lost our beloved Solo just short of the age of 12.  He was truly a once in a lifetime dog and will be greatly missed here.  Fly free now my big boy.

Solo has been awarded Best Puppy and Best Adult in Specialty matches.  Solo was shown sparingly at a few select all breeds and specialty shows.
